Hi everybody!
Talking about cultural diversity, we can't miss the opportunity to write about our Carnival time celebrations.
Finally, we still had free days, till Wednesday 2nd March, to enjoy Carnival with friends.

On last 30th January we commemorated the School Day of Non-violence and Peace.
Mahatma Gandhi
Martin Luther King
Malala Yousafzai
We are convinced that a sustainable development can't be
achieved without a culture of peace.
Even on these days, with states where there is no way to peace ๐ข
PEACE IS THE ONLY WAY
PEACE QUOTES
Hi everyone,
ROSALรA DE CASTRO
-Who was this woman?
- What literary movement did she belong to? Can we find something similar in
your literary tradition of that period?
- Why was she so important for Galician language and culture?
- When do we commemorate her?

Today (11/02/2022) we have had our third videoconference to exchange and put in common opinions about the concept of diversity both in Latvia and in Spain.
Although we had some technical problems ๐ , we were finally able to interchange our conclusions on the topic after several days "investigating" ๐๐๐ป about it.
Students were not very talkative this time but their opinions and answers were always accurate.
Good job!! ๐๐
After our Christmas break, students were working on a logo for our project.
Several options, both from Daugavpils and Padrenda were presented. One of the students from Daugavpils created a kind of vote system on google docs and students had the possibility to vote for what they considered the best project logo.
These were the candidates:
And the winner was...
It clearly reflects what the project is: roots and the cooperation between both countries.
Congratulations to everyone who has participated and particularly to the author of this logo. ๐๐
